  13.   Windows 98 (tm) and Windows 95 with Internet Explorer 4.0 (tm) introduces a new easy but powerful interface concept, and like many others OS, some aspects of the navigation graphical interface can be personalized.

  15.   DropFolder now enhance the Windows interface with a new power visual function that let you assign a DIFFERENT ICON TO ANY SINGLE FOLDER of your explorer interface. This graphical enhancement is a common task for other Operating System, but now, with your Windows, you can also do it with only few clicks!

  17.   DropFolder includes an unique function that let you to customize any icon folder reflecting the folder content. DropFolder is able to create a new document composed by an icon folder and by a little overlay image, all this without spending your time to draw: just only choose the preferred options, watch the preview and finally confirm the result.

  19.   If you think about it, almost all system folders, the control panel, the favourites, the remote access, the printers has a customized icon: who develop the interface knows how much simple is to find an item when it is marked-up by a particular image.
  20.   Since first minutes you'll notice how much simple and fast will become working with folders that reflects their contents: halt the browsing era inside infinite folders lists marked only by a characters sequence...

  27.   Using DropFolder is very easy: just drag and drop any folder icon over DropFolder icon. If you don't have changed the installation options, you can also use DropFolder simply with a mouse right-button click over any folder choosing "DropFolder" from menu "Send to".

  29.   If DropFolder is opened directly, without dropping any icon, it will be automatically selected the common icon of all folders: a dialog window gives the option to choose if operate on the opened or closed folder icon (normally the opened folder is displayed by the system on the top left corner of the window).

  31.   To customize a folder icon, just drag into the special area of the DropFolder window, the program or the document that you want to apply: this new element will be displayed over the selected folder icon and you will be able to position it as you like. Another way to select the overlay icon is to click on the button "..." and to select, using a normal Windows dialog, the preferred program or document.

  33.   NOTE: If you want remove DropFolder remember to return to the original situation at least the standard system folders. Uninstalling DropFolder you will remove all the internal icon libraries also ( all the external icons or the customized icons will not be removed ). To restore the standard values of a folder click on button "Default" into the DropFolder window.

  39. - Fix a little bug that cause an error when DropFolder was opened under some versions of Windows 95 with Internet Explorer 4.0.

  41. - The Icon cache is now rebuilt also under some unusual Windows configurations.

  43. - DropFolder now includes the ETO Classes: these classes will becomes the base of every ETO Software shareware. The ETO Classes are an extension of MFC classes and manages new kinds of dialogs, controls, images with mask and alpha etc. The ETO Classes will be available soon in many formats (lib, activeX, Xtra) for all interested developers (if you want know something else about ETO Classes please write an eMail to our webmaster).
